Airbus Confirms Interjet A320 Order

Airbus confirmed that Mexican start-up carrier Interjet had signed a contract to buy 10 A320s and had an option for another 10 of the passenger aircraft.
Airbus said the deliveries of the A320, which carries 150 passengers, to Interjet would begin in the second quarter of 2007. It had already announced the order in June.
Interjet is owned by ABC Aerolineas and will begin services in December this year from Toluca Airport near Mexico City.
