| EasyJet Year Profit Up 48 Percent |
UK budget airline easyJet reported a 48 percent increase in full-year underlying profit on Tuesday, and said it expected to increase profit by 20 percent in the coming year.
Profit before tax increased 48 percent to GBP191.3 million pounds (USD$395 million) in the year to September 30.
Passenger numbers increased 13 percent to 37.2 million on an increased load factor of 84 percent.
In the past year easyJet added eight new destinations and 46 routes.
