Markings are of the US MARINES Attack Squadron 214 (VMA-214) 'Black Sheep' circa 1992. This is Part 3 of the HARRIER PROJECT featuring the modernized APG-65 equipped 'Super Harrier'. The model features upgraded textures, better model, ungraded and enhanced .air file and better hover performance. Textures also feature the 'dirty' look found on most Harriers. Includes moving ailerons, rudder, nosewheel steering, flaps and nozzles. Paint is the low observable grey featured on all current US Aircraft. Panel is included and uses the FS2k GPS. EC 135 "Airstar VA" Description:
The EC 135 is the result of testing a new type of helicopter. At the beginning in 1988 there was the MBB BO 108. By cooperation between the german MBB and the french Aerospatiale (now Eurocopter) the EC 135 was born. The first EC 135 flew in 1991. This sonic cruise is the new prototype for boeing whitch will be out in the year 2008, This plane will go at speed of mach 0.98 or faster and will go more than 15,000km in range. This aircraft can seat from 100-300 people, the sonic cruiser travels at a altitude of about Mid-40,000 foot level or higher (13,000 meters+). This airplane will provide passengers with greater flying comfort. Environmental benefits will include landings and takeoffs quieter than Chapter 4 standards. I don't think this old war horse needs much introduction, but I will say during the past few years many operations where cobras have been involved have gone for the most part unmentioned. I guess the fact it's always perfomed well is not a surprise to anyone therefore requiring no mention. Although not as advanced as an apache, the fire control subsystem on a cobra is pretty solid and could take a beating, and trust me being an armament dog, we drove the damn thing in the dirt, adjust here and there, put it in the hands of a cobra jock and if your on the receiving end it's not a good day.
