RAF Coningsby, UK.
Description:

RAF Coningsby is situated in the county of Lincolnshire. Originally a large bomber airfield, it opened during the Royal Air Forces expansion period, late 1930&#039s. It was expanded in the 1950&#039s to accommodate the Vulcan bombers. Better known in recent years as the home to part of Britain&#039s defensive fleet of F4 Phantom&#039s, and F3 Tornado&#039s, Coningsby is now home to the Operational Conversion Unit for the Typhoon. This is one of a series of UK military bases, and has been built to be compatible with the UK VFR scenery.
