Based mostly on photos of the airport provided by Irvin McIntyre. Thanks, Irv! Tofino is a former military base, now a small airport on the south coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. The North Vancouver Air, Westex, Budget Rent-a-Car and east hanger are accurate reproductions of the real things. You will also find the campground office and golf clubhouse where they should be.

Castlegar is one of the toughest approaches in North America. Just over the border in the heart of the mountains have a fine time with this one. Presently not certified for night operations it&#039s a good place to challenge your approach skills. Glide slope is five degrees not your usual 2.5 or 3. Believe it or not Air Canada used to fly 737&#039s in here. Presently served by by Dash 8&#039s. Rwy12 libraries are required.

CYFD, Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
Description:

Brantford is an ex-military base 25 miles west of the western end of Lake Ontario and 20 miles west of Hamilton. It is the classic military triangle, but with one runway, 05/23, extended to 5,000&#039 for jet fighter use. The other two runways are both 2,600 feet long. It is difficult to miss seeing the airfield from afar, for most of the day, as there is a huge yellow VFR landmark in the form of several hundred parked and bright yellow school buses to the immediate southeast of the field.

CYGQ, Geraldton CNE6, Hutchinson Lake float base in northern Ontario, Canada.
Description:

Geraldton is an airfield with a 5,000 feet long asphalt runway in northern Ontario, Canada. It is 60 miles north of the northern end of Lake Superior, 40 miles east of Lake Nipigon, and close to Hutchison Lake where there is a float base. It&#039s layout is dispersed and a little strange, with hangers that appear to turn their back on the main apron, but this is because its growth was largely unplanned and the main apron was recently extended to provide space for fire-fighting Canadair CL 415 amphibians. So it is the apron that was built behind the hangers, rather than the other way around. The AI version of the CL 415 is included here, made from the original piloted version. Using SceneryGenX build 61.
