Niederrhein airport is a regional airport just across the Dutch border in Germany. It was ever known as RAF Laarbruch as you might see in the scenery, all the shelters and even an own village and was one of the four brothers Laarbruch, Brüggen, Wildenrath and Geilenkirchen, from which only Geilenkirchen is an open militairy airport. The other ones WIldenrath and Brüggen are closed. BUT the most Northern one Laarbruch was bought by a few Dutchman and was edited to a civil airfield and opened at 1st of May 2003 as Niederrhein airport.
