 Catalina Airport KAVX serves Avalon and Los Angeles County and is owned by Santa Catalina Is Conservancy. The paved runway extends for 3240 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 1602 feet at a distance of about 6 miles from Avalon. You will have to be very careful on approach. You are actually landing on top of a cliff. With the correct barometric pressure reading, you can trust your altimeter. Created with FSDS2, Rwy12 and Lago's FSE,the scenery requires Nova, Nova Gold, NovaSim and Rwy12 textures. Lago's FSE is optional. Traffic Tools and AFCAD2 are also required.
