Fairchild Co. remodeled the first title machine of pre-mass production type YA-10A, and made Night/Adverse WeatherN/AW A-10 for trial purposes. However, it was not possible to produce, and the plan was canceled. The main remodeling point was an addition of the rear seat and enlargement of the vertical wings. Moreover, inertia navigation device LN-39 and electric wave altimeter AN/APN-194 were installed. But, strangely, the armor has not been extended to the rear seat.
