Hello
I'm new to Flight Sim 2004, so sorry if I sound dum, I have tried to add a new aircraft but its not showing up when i open FS2004. I have put it in the folder "Aircraft" in Program files>Flight Simulator9 ! what am I doing wrong please help !

Well it all depends on some stuff. Oh and welcome to the world of FS!
There is an option in the .AIR file that allows the aircraft to be 'invisible' or not show up in the Aircraft selection menu.
Google 'AirED' (without the quotes)
Download it and run it. Go: file>Open then navigate to the Aircrafts .air file and open it.
Look for the entry called "Aircraft Type"
If the number next to it is '2' it is invisible. to change this you can select the number and enter '0' this will make it visible. |
