Although ‘Congonhas Airport’ is not considered a large airport, the developers were required some complex and specific knowledge to recreate it virtually to the last detail. It is located in the central region of Sao Paulo city, it has an intense air traffic because of the shuttle service. The intense air-traffic, all the vertical buildings around the airport, beside all the weather changes, these demand specific skills and you also need to know about all the landing system.
Landing at Congonhas Airport is very challenging, mainly from June to September (the airport is fogged in during the early morning). Congonhas is one of the busiest airport in South America.

Congonhas is one of the busiest airport in South America. It is located in the central region of Sao Paulo city, surrounded by many bulidings, it has an intense air traffic because of the shuttle service.
Landing and taking off surrounded by one of the biggest cities in the world is a challenge even for the most expert pilots. The intense air-traffic, all the vertical buildings around the airport, beside all the weather changes, these demand specific skills and you also need to know about all the landing system.
The WorldSceneries team developed this scenery to the last detail. We virtually built 80% of the main vertical buildings with photo-realistic texture to map the objects. The virtual ground was programmed with taxilines, stop spot and all the data which provide a well-oriented taxiation for virtual pilots.
The main vertical buildings nearby were reproduced and placed rightly. Other important buildings were introduced as well: the most popular buildings in Paulista Avenue, the towers on Jaraguá Peak and Helicidade (Helicopter’s City).The relief is definitely a great part of this project. You can install either just Sao Paulo city or the whole state. This resource can improve the relief effectively, which was programmed according to the SRTM data from NASA.
In case you already have Guarulhos Airport (the WS’s add-on), this scenery (Congonhas Airport) can surely be fitted with Sao Paulo city (in Guarulhos Airport add-on). You have an amazing result with the integration of these two airports. The air traffic was totally programmed with AFCAD2, so that your computer should have good performance to make it possible loading it fully.
