| SkyWest To Buy Bombardier Jets In USD$773 Mln Deal |
SkyWest placed a firm order with Bombardier for 18 CRJ700 NextGen and four CRJ900 NextGen regional jets, the companies said on Friday.
The value of the order is about USD$773 million.
SkyWest, which operates regional air services for United Airlines, announced last month it was in discussions with both Bombardier and Brazilian aircraft-maker Embraer for the purchase of 22 aircraft.
Bombardier is the world's third-largest civil aircraft maker. Its CRJ700 jets have 66 seats and its CRJ900 jets have 76 seats.
